Project Overview

Visual Empire designed and delivered a commemorative ANZAC Day installation within Westfield Belconnen, creating a respectful and visually striking tribute.

The installation introduced a field of sculptural red poppies suspended throughout the mall void, creating a dramatic visual moment that encouraged visitors to pause and reflect.

Inspired by the symbolic poppy associated with remembrance, the installation combined large-scale floral sculptures with layered suspended elements to create a powerful commemorative display.

The cascading poppies created a striking visual environment visible across multiple levels of the shopping centre.

Together these elements formed a meaningful tribute that honoured the significance of ANZAC Day while engaging the community.

The installation created a memorable moment of remembrance within the centre and encouraged visitors to reflect on the occasion.
