Our Story
1998
Founded by our Director Annie Bloom, Visual Empire was born from creative roots and installed our first Christmas at Westfield Bondi Junction.
2002
Expanding Visual Merchandising and seasonal events we can became the preferred supplier for Westfield in NSW.
2004
Visual Empire’s growth into Christmas continues including large scale, complex installations working across QIC, Mirvac, Westfield, Vicinity and the iconic QVB Swarovski tree.
2013
Visual Empire continues to create incredible large scale set design and execution including building a 6m tall Eiffel Tower complete with mannequin and visual merchandising displays.
2017
Expanding our retail cabinet offering we designed and built new bespoke display units for QIC Castle Towers. The team has continued this work and we now supply a range of display units including mannequins and signage.
2020
In 2020 Visual Empire was awarded the Westfield Christmas install contract for NSW and ACT encompassing 16 centres and becoming their largest installer in Australia.
2023
Visual Empire has been proudly working with The Star Sydney for over a decade. In 2023 we created a new multi-sensory experience in the Grandfoyer with bespoke decorations and programmable LED lighting for both Christmas and New Year. The shows were integrated into the Casino’s AV system to create a music and lighting experience delighting crowds through the day and night.
