Project Overview

Visual Empire designed and delivered the Festival of Lights at Westfield Miranda, transforming the centre’s dining and rooftop precincts into a vibrant winter activation.

A series of illuminated installations introduced colour, movement and atmosphere throughout the precinct, encouraging visitors to explore the centre and experience the event across multiple locations.

Inspired by illuminated gardens and animated natural elements, the activation combined LED lighting, sculptural installations and interactive photo moments.

Key features included an enchanted fig tree light installation, colour-changing LED neon staircase lighting, glowing garden displays throughout the rooftop precinct and a large illuminated butterfly photo moment at the cinema entry. Many of these animated lighting elements form part of Visual Empire’s premium Festival of Lights range, which is available for purchase or hire for future seasonal activations.

Together these elements created a journey of light through the centre and a series of memorable moments for visitors.

The Festival of Lights transformed Westfield Miranda into a vibrant winter destination, drawing visitors through the centre’s dining precincts and creating an engaging seasonal environment for customers to experience and share.
