Project Overview

For over 20 years, Visual Empire has designed and delivered large-scale Christmas installations at The Star Sydney, transforming the venue into an immersive festive environment.

Dramatic decorations and programmable, integrated lighting displays introduce colour, sparkle and atmosphere throughout the casino and entertainment precinct, creating a striking seasonal experience for visitors.

Inspired by contemporary festive styling, the installation combines sculptural decorations, premium Christmas trees and dynamic lighting effects integrated with the venue’s existing lighting systems.

This year’s installation included the introduction of a new premium Christmas tree collection, ranging from smaller feature trees through to large-scale gate trees designed to frame entrances and create dramatic arrival moments. A new hero tree within The Darling was also introduced, carefully designed to retain its iconic presence while offering multiple lighting scenes that create strong visual impact and attract visitors for festive photos. The new tree range is now available for purchase and future seasonal installations.

The installation transforms the venue into a vibrant seasonal destination and contributes to the excitement and atmosphere of the holiday period.
